Ellen is excellent! I have used her twice in one of my key accounts for two 4 hour sessions. Overall she trained nearly 50 persons in this account for Motivational Interviewing. The first session in March received such positive response that the account requested Ellen a second time! I am now in the process of setting up a third meeting with the same account for Ellen. She is not only professional, but very passionate about the work and material that she teaches. She is readily able to get participation from the group and makes the material come to life by pulling on the participants real-world experiences. I cannot say enough good things about her and would strongly encourage having her share her talents with your group.

MCD Public Health has had Ellen provide numerous MI trainings throughout the state of Maine. Audiences have varied from clinicians, social workers, substance abuse councilors, community health workers, public health professionals and many more. In fact, a couple times we shut down a complete practice and sent ALL staff to the MI training. This was very powerful for staff skill building and teambuilding. Participants always leave with a better understanding of MI and have some key practical steps/tools that they can begin to use in their work. I highly recommend Dr. Ellen Glovsky and her training evaluations are always excellent. Some comments from participants include:
– Very well done, you could see Dr. Ellen really cares about her work.
– Wonderful 2 days. Great speaker and people to interact with. Speaker was knowledgeable and passionate about MI.
– Very informative will practice these skills more.
– Material was great
– This was perfect for the new person any more info would be overwhelming
– Fantastic
– Dr. Ellen is awesome

One of the best sessions ever. Dr. Ellen really speaks the truth about how we were trained to counsel vs. what is actually effective in achieving change.

As usual, Ellen’s presentation was very well received. The dietetic interns felt it was very valuable especially the opportunity to practice. They commented on how her energy and enthusiasm for MI was contagious!
